I assume you're talking about the audio connections here and not the power.  
If your MD deck has enough digital inputs and your DCC has a digital out, 
maybe you can do what I did.  I have a Sony JB920 MD deck and a Denon 
portable DAT recorder.  The DAT has a coaxial digital in/out port, so I ran 
that into the MD's coax ports.  When I want to listen to a DAT I put the MD 
in record-monitor mode with no disc inserted, and listen through the MD deck. 
 Since my Sony CD player has an optical output, I don't have to unplug any 
cables, just flip a switch on the front of the 920.
