well, the short answer is NO!
There was some talk on the list about sending data out through a modem
and collecting the audio stream onto MD, but the ammount of data you would
be able to store, would make it borderline useless...
There is the MDH-10 MiniDisc Data drive.
It's a SCSI interface, runs slower than a floppy, and can only write
to MD Data discs. BTW the MDD's run for about 15-25 dollars (USD) depending
on where you buy them...
in summary, buy a ZIP drive if you want data storage
use MD for audio :-)
