Some months we made some tests that I can only now tell you all about.

These tests involved recording, in a professional studio, some music from a
sample CD onto my Sharp 722 and a Sony MDS-B6P recorder.

The unusual thing that when we listened to both recordings and compared it
to the original, the frequency ends seemed to have boosted somehow.

We didn't have the means to make further tests, but it was unheard of for
us. It looked as if a loudness had been switched on on the recording. The
recordings were done through the analog inputs, but shouldn't really
matter. If any of you do any tests like this, please play source and MD
through a good speaker, not headphones.

Any comments?

Carlos
