Sorry Caleb, but whoever told you that is wrong. The track spacing has been
reduced so there are physically more tracks on the disc than on a 74 minute
one. Even if they reduced the TOC data to 1 track no titles at all this
would not give you an extra six minutes, that much data would hold maybe a
few block, so you'd gain about 10 seconds at a guess.. certainly no way near
6 minutes.
