As an R35 owner, I must say I'm glad I bought this unit before it
got completely unavailable. The R37 has no jog dial, (slightly) less
battery life and an absolutely crappy design. (It looks like a radio
alarm clock ! What was Sony thinking ?) This is one of the few recent
portable MD units that doesn't look cool in the least way, IMHO.
I'd have gotten the R50 if it wasn't so much more expensive. But
if you have the money I'd say go for it.
