This is covered in great detail on my web pages. I have a step-by-step guide
with pictures and details of all the leads you need. You wont need a digital
card to record MP3s unless you feel you really need to go digital. If you
have a good sound card you wont gain much from digital anyway!

For digital output I recommend the Videologic Sonic Vortex 2 (which is the
more common version of the Xitel Platinum card) for most users, although if
you do a lot of MIDI work the SBLive! is better because although it has a
sample rate converter which may make a very small difference to sound
quality, it has much better facilities over all.
