No, the Sony deck (that or the Sharp MT15) did something bad to the TOC.
If it were me, I'd erase the entire disc and start over, or borrow
somebody's deck (or MS7xx) and clone a "clean" TOC on it.
Of course, erasing the entire disc means that you might have to make an
analog recording (if you don't have a CD player with digital out)...
