OK. Here's a question for you. I am trying to decide
between buying the Sony MXD-D3 or the JE-530 and a CD
player with an optical output (my current CD deck was
purchased before optical outputs were included on
decks).
My question: Would it hurt anything to leave the
optical cable connected permanently between the CD
deck and the MD deck? It would be a real pain to have
to connect them up every time I wanted to record, and
that might lead me to purchase the MXD-D3.
