hi,
my 520 did the exact same thing, stuttered at a certain time on a disc. i
cleaned it many times, no help. it had to be repaired, new optical block,
plus i had the usual shit fixed, turn on bug, protect error, ect. if you
dont have a warrantee of any kind and have to pay, toss it in the garbage,
or just keep it as a signal rate/ optical converter, its still good for
that. mine would have been 250.00 to fix, as much as a new( better) one.
since fixed, its been fine.
