THough it isn't very portable, you can get a power supply card for your
computer that you can set up for the right voltage.  They had them in
Germany for 19.95Dm and a better on for 29.95DM.  That is about $10 and
$15 US respectively.  Basically you set it for your voltage, plug the
card in a vacant slot in the computer, put the cord in it, plug in the
MD and it will charge the unit just like a regular power supply.  THey
should also be available in the states.  The more expensive has all
sorts of connector attachments and it should fit the MD directly.  The
cheaper one only has a few adaptors.
