Does anyone know if:
1) Sony changers (MD/CD) uni-link can be adapter-converted to work with
other manufacturer HU for cheap ?
<<

Yeah - there are a few ways to do this..

There is a rather "expensive" box that was designed for
use to adapt early Sony chagners to non changer equipped head
unit (Sony or otherwise).
It has a unit link cable to connect to the changer, power
cables for input, RCA cables for input and output and antenna
connector "T" so you can use it as an "RF" type unit if you
want.
I used to use it with a Sony head unit that did not
have changer controls.
It works with a wireless rempte and has a "large" DIN sizex
face panel that can be flush mounted (If I still have the bracket)
or palced "aside". Unlike others, there are NO controls on the
remote dispaly unit - you have to use teh wireless remote.

The other way is to get a "broken" RF unilink changer and scaenvge
the appropriate parts.

Id be willing to part with thr unilink controller *if* I can
find all the parts that make it work.
