Hi.. okay, There are quite a few places that sell decent microphones, it
depends on what you call 'proper' and how much you want to spend! I buy
from Canford Audio, they have a huge range of audio/video products.
Contacts are:
        tel: UK Sales 0191 418 1122
        fax: 0191 418 1001
        e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        net: www.canford.co.uk

When I say 'I buy', I mean 'I buy on behalf of where I work..', so I don't
know whether canford has any restrictions on who they supply catalogues to.

Another company, Composite Video, has a range which includes some cheaper
mics, and they have a 'no quibble' guarantee!
Contacts are:
        tel: 0208 641 4044
        fax: 0208 644 0474

Hope this helps..
