On the www.minidisc.org web site there links to many independent reviews
studies, and consumer reports. Minidisks are better for many reasons but the
most obvious is the cost of the media as compared to the MP3 players
(mini-disks play 75 to 80 minutes of recordings and cost less than $2.00
each, while the 64MB chip for an average MP3 player holds between 60 to 90
minutes of music with each memory cartridge costings around $69 each and are
very hard to store)! There are many other reasons why to choose MD over
MP3...
