Are you saying that there is an obvious difference in sound quality based on
double blind studies where the sound levels have been match to a fraction of a
dB or are you saying that because you think there are obvious differences based
on your personal listening experience?

I have no idea where I would even begin to obtain the equipment necessary to
make A/B comparisons that would be able to match the sound levels to begin
with. Even a dB of difference could make you hear an "obvious" difference.

Then if I were to keep switching all over the place randomly (for example
CD-MD-MD-CD-CD-MD-D-MD-CD-CD-CD-CD-MD-CD-MD-MD..............I think that you
would reach a point where you were not sure which was which.

I'm talking high end, state of the art recorders and playback equipment. It is
possible that I can be proven wrong. But I think that even if you could tell a
difference in the beginning, by the end you would have lost that ability.

Just my 2 cents

Larry

PS, this is all kind of pointless. If you are at home. have the original CD
and a high end audio system there is no need to use the MD anyway. But in the
car, the MD is the way to go and I really don't think you can tell obvious
differences where you would state that the CD sounds better while driving.
