For your information, Apple's invention of Firewire was intended for multimedia applications. But Apple charged high licencing fee so it slower the adoption rate, acturally Firewire appear before USB. Well, I'm not against Creative Lab. But wait until they come up with a decent driver before consider the SB series, otherwise you are welcome to join all the unhappy users who are having troubles.
