Not that these are/were threat to MDs but I cant recall the correct name but
remeber FDROM(clear cdrom type media) was able to hold like 170gb or
so....cant recall...havent see that yet either.....

But you know I dont think any new media would cause a threat to MD if ...and
I truly belive this....if the Sony or any other brave manufacture makes a
product that will allow from PC to MD faster than realtime there is huge
market....which continues to grow....that rely on the PC for its audio needs
now...MD is already has strong points going as a recording device now it
needs to act as a perpherial and a recording device.
