Tim,
    this may seem like an extreme solution, but in the end it might work out
better for ya.  if you watch every once and a while someone is selling the
sharp MD-X5 unit for $99, yeah it's 20 more than the prefab unit your
looking at but it's a md/cd/reciever small bookshelf thing with a ps/2 kb
attachment.  it works great for titling, plus you can play and recored your
md's in it.  just another option i thougth you might wanna know about.
