I have such a cable. Picked it up from our local pc supplier. This would not
help you as I am in South Africa :-) The digital cable cuts out a LOT of
noise. Like the man said, go for DIY. A cable like that should be very easy
to make.

It is fine for recording, but for normal playback it is not worth the cpu
time, even on a 1.4 Ghz system. (We've done test on ORDINARY 1.4 Ghz
systems, at it uses at least 10% of the cpu time)
