Nice, was the gpopack content removed from the 2013 preview? I haven’t looked. (Just set the variable to NO in my cs.ini)

FYI, this will be inadvertently addressed in MDT 2013 – due to some non-technical reasons we removed the default GPOPack content. The step is still there, so will now by default fail gracefully. To use this functionality you will have to explicitly add your own GPOPack (from SCM or GPO backup). This will be covered in more detail in the MDT 2013 release notes. The ApplyGPO pack step has had a bug forever, it’s not supposed to apply but it does ☺ It basically sets a bunch of local policies that most people don’t normally set, so things that weren’t configured are not configured which results in the funky behavior some of you are seeing. So I would recommend disabling that in your MDT task sequences. Again, it’s not supposed to be enabled (variable needs to be set), but it always applies. Has anyone seen an issue with a newly imaged machine on SCCM 2012 SP1 where the last logged on user name isn’t kept when you log into a machine. It keeps blanking out the username. This is only happening on our newly imaged Windows 7 machines on SCCM 2012. This doesn’t happen on SCCM 2007 imaged machines. We are using MDT 2012 intergrated into SCCM 2012 as well if that helps.
