Sepertinya antara subyek dan data dari wikipedia kok nggak nyambung ya?
Perihal "dual citizenship", siapa saja yang lahir di AS, walau orang tuanya
bukan WN AS, otomatis dia jadi WN AS.
Contohnya seperti Bu Wita (putrinya Pak Soedarpo Sastrosatomo), Nela (putri
pak Taufik Abdullah/istrinya Cholid mantan wartawan Tempo) dan ribuan orang
Indonesia lainnya.
Kalau tak salah ada batasan umur hingga 17 tahun untuk memilih salah satu
kewarga negaraan. Kebetulan Paul Wolfowitz memilih jadi WN AS, bukan Israel.
Saya sendiri kurang yakin kalau orang tua Paul - walau Yahudi - adalah asal
Israel. Siapa tahu imigran dari negara lain (misal Eropa Timur) yang langsung
ke AS? Kalau dinalar, ada yang janggal/ Itu kalau melihat dia kelahiran tahun
1943 di Ithaca. Israel berdiri tahun berapa coba?
Atau barangkali Mas Satrio yang memasukkan data-data Paul tersebut ke
wikipedia? Seperti halnya data "prestasi" Anda yang juga dimasukkan ke situs
itu? Kalau bukan Anda, pasti orang iseng.....
