Tara and or Mary,

I love the status board but there is an obvious limitation with getting
patients on the handheld list for Outpatient departments - am I missing
something or are individuals managing this themselves. I do have a script
for our dialysis unit to script names into the handheld list from scheduled
appointments but don't want to go down that road with all.

Thanks for any help.

Tara,
On our Rehab Status Board I put: Patient Name (of course), Acct Number,
DOB, SOC Date, Date of Onset, Date of Surgery, Primary Diagnosis,
Recertification Date, Number of Visits Insurance Allow (Insurance Allows),
Physician, Allergies, Phone Number of Patient.
Do pole your therapists for what they need to refer to quickly, these do
need to be built into an Initial Assessment or Treatment Plan so they can be
pulled into the Status Board.

Hi All,
Can you send me examples of your outpatient statusboards for the
therapies? Also, if you got custom or thought of something unique to
help
there workflow can you share that with me? I put barcodes on their
printed
schedules so they can scan the patients onto their list, but I am really
hoping to do something with the flowsheet or creative ideas so that they
will accept Meditech. I am demoing to the outpatient managers tomorrow.

Thanks
