We created another "nurse type" of Dir that has access to all of those
categories. When we get asked then why the printed documentation
doesn't reflect that user's credentials, I remind them that the "nurse
type" is not the user's credentials, but rather an access level.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Access to interventions for different Provider
Types

I'm new to the list server so, I apologize if this is an old question.

We have managers of departments with several disciplines. We would like
for the managers to be able to see the interventions of those
disciplines for training & problem resolution issues.

e.g. The Director of Physical Medicine is a PT ... when he does patient
care, he needs to sign as a PT so that is his provider type. BUT, he
also needs to see the interventions of OT's, ST's, and MT's. (for
training & problem solving issues) If I put his user type (PT) on the
OT,ST, & MT interventions, all his PT's will see all the interventions
when they shouldn't. They shouldn't be using those interventions and
they shouldn't have to look at all those that don't belong to them.

I have a similar situation with a ST who runs an even bigger department
with Audiologists and a couple levels of assistants.

How do you all deal with this?

I really appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks!
