We have been charging through EDM with success for 3 years. We created a new journal on the BAR side specifically for ER charges. We use intervention based, query based, and acuity to drive ER level charges. It was very difficult on our end to accurately drive the acuity levels but I think we finally got it down. We do have someone that reviews the level charging on a daily basis due to nurses not documenting correctly. I would be glad to share my dictionaries or documentation for level charges.

I tested query based charging in EDM and it worked in TEST. In LIVE, we use query based and intervention based charging for RT and other areas/disciplines. Works fine.
