I believe the MAGIC version is closer to general release – 6-9 months out.

FYI to everyone about the Oncology module… we are a CS Beta
beginning our build of the Oncology module in October 2007 with a projected 9
to 12 month build. After general release, early adopters will have at least a 6
to 9 month build. This probably puts use of this system out to the summer of
2009 at a minimum… two years from now. If PCS can be used for some Oncology
documentation, it sounds like a good idea to go there until this module is
ready. Bill.

Please post to list. Our oncologist has looked at several options and wants to
get his office on a computer program. We’d like to wait for Meditech, but he’s
wanting to get started with something sooner than 12 months.
Thanks.

Good Afternoon everyone.
I would like to hear from any hospital C/S or Magic that have set up
documentation and/or Pharmacy order sets to support Medical Oncology.

We know the Oncology Module from Meditech is at least a year away from general
release in Client server. We have an immediate need to get off of paper as much
as possible.

Any information you may have or sample documentation screens would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.
