Can you set up your CMP and BMP "Duplicate Hours" and "OE Dup Hrs" in the Test Dictionaries? That is how we have ours set up. If the CMP or BMP is ordered outside of the time frame we set in these fields it is not ordered. Do you have this option in your test dictionaries?

Medicare won't pay for our ER/OP patients, if both panels are ordered on the same day. I used the one from Meditech KB #20523, but it doesn't work (it doesn't flag about the first order). I have been asking meditech to help me with this issue for like a month now. Finally today, they told me that this rule won't work and that THERE'S NO SUCH RULE THAT WILL SOLVE THIS ISSUE. I have a rule already that can flag if these 2 panels are ordered on the same session, but what I need is for 2 different sessions (on the same day). Isn't it so frustrating when Meditech tells you that there's no solution to your problem! I do believe there are smart people out there that can help me with this. Thanks a lot.
