Having a single way to request funds also ensures all incoming requests are considered equally and fairly. There's a bug assigned to me to investigate a similar, MeeGo-specific sponsorship process, and I'm looking into it. I know your timetable is getting short, and the MeeGo-specific process will take some time and require approvals, so perhaps I could suggest an additional option. I'd try to directly approach the companies that are involved in MeeGo. They may have more flexibility to fund (and I'm sure would greatly appreciate their logos at the event!) Best, Brian
