Will including SSSE3 support as part of the minimum requirement is going to
be a limiting factor in the adoption of MeeGo?
There are many other x86 computers out there that can run Linux-based
systems (including 3D acceleration) quite comfortably.

So, sure Atom benefits from SSSE3. Does this mean that this "requirement"
has to be enforced for other x86 platforms too.

Can this be solved by compiling the source code to remove the SSSE3
requirement or are there software components that depend on this
requirement?

I have an n900 and looking forward to running MeeGo on it. It would be nice
if I can run MeeGo on my laptop too.

Having a "unified" installation on different computer "types" would be
really useful.
