It can't be ignored since image creation stops.

Good point, I missed that. But why does mic2 then give him the error
message "Error: failed to create image : Failed to find package
'syslinux' : No package(s) available to install."?

Is that a bug of mic2 and can be ignored?

                Hi Harsha,

You need the right version of syslinux on your system.
The best way to update your system is to download the package from
http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/tools/repos/ and build it. Choose your
distribution accordingly e.g. for Ubuntu 10.04:
http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/tools/repos/ubuntu/10.04/.

eh guys .. he's trying to make an ARM image.
there's no syslinux involved for arm... at all.
