As mentioned before in meego-packaging, Telepathy Qt4 0.5.x is API/ABI
incompatible with previous releases, and some packages have not yet been
ported to the new API.
I'd like to upgrade the current package to the 0.5.x series.
According to osc whatdependson, the only packages that will be affected
by this are:
- contactsd
- commhistory-daemon
- libmeegochat
contactsd has already been ported upstream, and I was indeed waiting for
the new telepathy-qt4 to submit the updated package (BMC#11175).
commhistory-daemon has not been ported yet, but I have a patched package
which builds against the new API.
I don't know what the plans for libmeegochat are, but I notified the
maintainer.
