Some doubts: Flasher usage implies warranty loss and the normal
redistributable license might not bring that point across.
Could include verbiage that makes it clear that using flasher can/will violate the warranty

We're probably already going to do this for 1.3 work as we don't have DSME
there. May not be static, but a standard glibc one would be OK..
Assuming it no longer has any dependancies on anything except glibc, that should be acceptable (that means removing any gnome glib dependency also)

AP 4: Do this for pulseaudio-modules-nokia. contextkit-battery is no longer
in use.
Given that pulseaudio-modules-nokia is the only consumer of libbmeipc (if contextkit-battery is gone) then creating a working open libbme or libbmeipc that supports the bits required for pulseaudio-modules-nokia is not that hard (the required info IS present in various revisions of the libbme git repo)

I personally think that sysinfo is just a dbus api but worth investigating.
libsysinfo definatly provides more than just a dbus API, it has functions called sysinfo_init, sysinfo_finish, sysinfo_get_keys, sysinfo_get_value and some others (at least in the Harmattan sysinfo.h) It does appear to also have a dbus interface (Harmattan SDK has sysinfo_dbus_names.h). It appears as though the system uses both DBUS and libsysinfo to talk to it.
