Hi
I want the functionality existing in tag 3.11.0 where meld skips scanning
files/directories listed in the .gitignore files (VC mode).

Problem is, in 3.11.0 I encounter funky behavior where alt+up and alt+down
will select an entire line and move it up/down in the file! I see it as
unwanted (and even dangerous!) behavior since alt+up/down is used to jump
between the different diff sections. Is this a intentional?

So basically I'm looking for _any_ stable meld version which skips
.gitignore entries. Is this supported on any of the other branches (1.6,
1.8) ?

As master is a child of 3.11.0, I figured it's included. Problem is, it's
crashing (see below).
Any advice?
Thanks!
~igal
