Title: budget variance reporting

Questions:
How often do you distribute department/cost center  budget variance reports? Monthly, quarterly?

Are department managers or cost center's supervisors required to report and explain budget variances in writing? If so, how often.

Do you provide a standard report form for budget variance analysis?

What are your criteria or requirement for budget variance analysis? Based on certain percentages of the annual budget, or year-to-date budget?
