St. Helena has a volunteer fire department. The City establishes hourly wage fees (based on what paid department make) and equipment fees for reimbursement for emergency Reponses OES requests for aid, negligence, violation of the law, or as a result of carelessness. We then pay the fire personnel for time spent. Has any other cities with volunteer fire departments established similar fees?
