Hello everyone,

Has anyone had to deal with the anomaly employees with fixed stated
contracts for salaries running from July 1 fiscal year and how this is
handled especially in years where there is a 27th pay period and it
wasn't figured out at the beginning of the fiscal year? 

Is the fiscal year cash paid (checks cut during fiscal year) or accrual
(actual hours from July 1 thru Jun 30)?
Is the 2080 normal hours even applicable when there is a fixed dollar
amount to be paid?
How do you handle the odd amounts when converting this fixed amount to
26 pays? 

If someone has encountered this rather bizarre situation, I would really
appreciate hearing from you in terms of how it was resolved.
