wiring troubles

hi all, im having a bit of a problem with a z18et 510, it is all standard, ie comp..., the problem was that when the key was turned to on, then back to off, without starting the fuel pump would still run, and to kill it you needed to start and stop the motor. anyway we didnt get a chance to look at it as we were fixing other things, but now when you start the car and turn the key off the car still runs, the only way to kill it is to remove a battery lead. so checking a bit of wiring i found that after the battery has been dis/reconnected everything is right, but as soon as you turn the key to 'on' evrything gets power as it should, but when the key is turned off the whole lot still has power, as though it thought the switch was still on. so with the switch removed there is still power everywhere, so its not a dodgy switch, i have no idea unless there is a faulty relay or something in the computer, or the way the computer was wired that isnt right??? has anyony ever seen anything like this or have any ideas??? thanks andrew --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/listindex.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
