Dear list again, I have a Nissan 5 speed in my car. I bought it with crossmember and shortened tailshaft. The gearbox is starting to crunch on downchanges so I am replacing it. The problem is....I wouldn't have a clue what it is out of. The gearbox is still in the car and the only number I can see is on top of the bellhousing. It is 7910435. I have a 280ZX box ready to go in but I still want to know what the old box is so I may fix it (because the ratios are great) or fix it and sell it. "Thanks again list!" he repeated.
