Those of you in Melbourne who watch the Trading Post may have seen the Datsun 1600 in Malvern for sale this week.  Described as "Body EC suit restoration" its a fair description and its sold.  It has a blown head gasket caused by a stuffed radiator.   Its a 72 GL auto with original hub caps, NO rust and minor panel scrapes on the front guards only.  Its got original 93000 miles and had one owner for 27 years. Seller is his granddaughter. Original engine, trim is like new except for drivers seat squab, including original red carpets and it has NO cracks in the dash!   So now I have another project.
