LNW 593, is a one family owner '72 1600 GL Auto I bought last Thursday. It has now arrived at home, where I am checking it out to see what work I have really bought.    No real rust, not even on any of the lower guard areas. A few minor scratches and one slightly bent front RH guard.   Interior good as new, original service manual and owner handbook in the glovebox.  Spare, jack and original tools under the original wheel cover and boot mat.  The spare is an original equipment Dunlop Guardian crossply and there are two more spares in the boot!  I found out why it hasn't got a crack in the dash. The former owner carried a sun guard for the windscreen when it wasn't garaged.   Mechanically?  Recently fitted auto, new brakes, roadworthy suspension and new exhaust system. Stuffed radiator and blown head gasket on the original 93000 Mile engine- and 5 months rego!   I'm very happy with it.    The Finance Director was conned with the line that it was purchased to make a "quick quid" and was trying to hold me to that line - until my son, Luke, suggested it would be "ideal" for his girlfriend (read Luke).
