peter, I went out when they were just having their final practise run. I
couldn't see any timing happening, but I wouldn't know anyway. I saw about
3 dato's run, and a few in the car park, and some spastic looking honda
thing (it looked like it had a honda prelude rear on it, but it was going so
damn fast I couldn't tell). One dato may have done a bit of damage though,
and not only to his front gard (which was cracked by the way), but it
overheated, there was radiator fluid all over the engine (an L20B with twin
carbies). There was also a wagon (1100 I think) that I heard was having
heaps of trouble and was garaged after the first run. :( well that's all
my news, except for the fact that they were asking for trouble not fencing
off the HUGE paddock just outside the main fences past the first main turn
(after the straight), as soon as my dato saw it, it couldn't help itself but
to go and play!
