Well thanks for the advice/offers for the R180, fitted in nicely, and feels strong enough - well I had to give it a bit of a work out to see if it was ok!!!! I know it was stupid, but I'd been without my dato for a couple of days and was having withdrawl symptoms, so as soon as I put it in i took it down to the local carparks and tested it! There's no way I'm going to blow it with my piss weak L16...... It was easy enough to get in, the hardest bit was getting the R160 out of the bloody thing - I was going to bash in the spare tyre well just for the room (well slight over exagguration!) I found it easier to take the backing plate off and mounting plates, fit it, and then put these on later - just gives more room.
