Adam,
small bends are hard to see and can easily give 5mm toe. The only way to
check is to remove the arm and compare with an arm that is known to be good

I took the car back to the suspension place to check the settings.  They 
were fine, but it appears I have 5mm of toe in on the rear-drivers side 
wheel.  This may not be the cause of the problem but it can't be good for 
stability back there.  Now I have a question, none of the mounts were 
loose, ie no movement in the swing arm to subframe, and both rear 
suspensions are the same height.  I couldn't see any bends or damage to the

swing arms.  So where is this extra toe coming from?
