Buggered if I know Cam, I am a Detective mate - the last ticket I saw was
mine!!! I don't do traffic work at all. Best if you contact Transport
Dept. I cannot see how a strut brace could be illegal though

Subject: brad hallett about strut bracing?

hello,
i dont want to seem rude or anything but can i ask you a question?...i
mate of mine put a strut brace on his turbo corrolla and he was pulled over
and got a ticket thingy for having the strut brace on and was told to take
it off..... and while i was down the coast last night the police came to the
"car park" and was inspecting cars, i had my bonnet up, and two police
walked passed so i quikly shut the bonnet (as i have a strut brace) Is it
illegal to have a strut brace or not???
because i thought the police "sortof" would be endorcing strut bracing for
extra handling and safety???
anyways cya cameron
