Your low brake pedal is probably just because you
need to adjust up the rear shoes. Your previous handbrake cable was
probably acting as an adjuster on the rears.
I suppose you can buy a new rear cable or get it
made up by a brake shop. Are you sure you have snapped it? The
cantilevered bracket underneath may have lost its pivot, check it out as its a
cheaper fix if this is your problem

Hi list,
Having one of those days where you wanna just kick the crap
outta your datto.
Few things happened, but the one I'm worried about is my
brakes/handbrake
I pulled on my handbrake in uni and snapped it, between the
bit where it goes from one line to both the wheels at the back. And now not
only that but my brakes are spungy as, like they almost touch the floor. I
bled them once before and I don't think I did a good job. I couldn't remember
the order to bleed them, is it furthest to closest?
Also whats the best bet with my handbrake? a second hand one
from the wreckers? how much should I pay?
