Heh, this is totally wrong, and as far as I know
none of the Australia providers offer support for the Closed user group
function, not that this function would somehow detect a radar anyhow. Try any
number in there, and there is no affect on ANYTHING, except the closed user
group function is displayed with whatever number you entered. The idea behind
this feature is totally different to 'radar detection'.
The 'Sim clock stop' is also another classic, all
it stops is the timer within your phone, just like disconecting your speedo on
your car, no free calls!
