weve got a radar detector and 2 nokia mobile phones so i will put the code 
on and see how it compares(if anything happens) to the radar which beeps 
like a nutcase. when the phone rings whilst the radar is on the radar goes 
nuts also. and with laser guns it only picks it up when its
- either pointed on you
- or u pick up a refelcted beam(usually the case)
but cameras u can pick up from a mile away.

also i wouldve thought ud have to point the antenna of the phone towards the 
radar to pick it up?

well ill tell ya how i go.
