Listers,     Not headlights, (this time), but a previous owner has removed the resistor from my ignition. yes i am running a points style dizzy and was wondering what the long term effects this has( I assume the points will burn out quicker). The car is a circuit only vehicle, so it doesn't see much running time.   Also, the power wire from the wiring loom goes to the negative side of the coil (as well as tacho), and the wire from the points is attached to the posative side of the coil. Is this normal for a datto ????
