Pity, it's about 1 1/4 hours away. Generally its a good weekend, lots to see, heaps of croozin. The clowns start to go off pretty late in the night(early in the morning), but i would think the cops would try and keep them under control. Personally i have had no trouble with rowdy crowds, i'm just going off what i have heard about the last 2 nationals (1998/99) as I didn't get to go. The incidents i heard of may have been isolated, I don't know. But the roads are lined with spectators at night. Sunday is the big day as thats when the burnout comp is on (usually a sound off aswell), but it is out in the open. Very little (practically no) shade and it is usually fu$#ing hot. Iv'e had a fer friends get heatstroke there. If you havn't been before, go and have a look. If the crowd starts to get rowdy then park at the lake and hang. Usually there are some top cars there. and shit loads of traffic.
