Sorry don't know about the oil pressure sensor, but the vacuum sensor needs to
be connected directly to the manifold, the valved line is probably the line for
the brake booster, this will not give you an acurate reflection of the manifold
pressure. The brake booster line has a one way valve designed to hold the lowest
pressure that the manifold reaches to increase the effectiveness of the brake
booster. If the gauge is starting on zero but jumps as you rev the engine and
then holds the new value as the engine revs return to idle, this is the likely
function of the line/valve. Using a T-piece before the valve will allow both a
brake booster and the vacuum gauge to be used from the one manifold fitting.
