Andrew,
I can't recall anything that is unique with the C210 gearbox, they're a long
box with the exhaust mounting plate on the rear of the extension housing.
The C210 gearbox is ~130mm longer than a 1600 4 speed and the shifter hole
needs to be cut out at the rear by around 65mm on the manual trans tunnel.
You have to be a bit careful under the tunnel as the rear brake line runs
through there.

regards
Terry

Subject: gearbox shifter hole position

hi all

just a quick question. I got me a C210 gearbox (i think - the guy didnt
seem so certain). does anyone have any quick ways for me to be able to
identify for certain this is a c210 gearbox??

also for this gearbox to fit, does the shifter hole have to be modified
for the 510??

thanks alot

andrew
