Hi List I'm building up a L18 motor to be suitable for rally use. I have a siezed SSS motor which hopefully still has a good head but if not I was wondering if anyone has put a L16 head on a L18. I know the L16 has smaller ports and has an open chamber but for some reason the L16 motor used to go really hard and blow off mildly worked L20's. The motor was stock except for the head being machined, extrctors and 32/36 Weber. The motor was in a 68 P 510. Would it be a good Idea to port the L16 head and use it?
